8 bedrock mortars near Roosmoor main gate.
There is even a plaque here commemorating the contact period Saclan village at this site.
This site has an official trinomial: CA-CCO-309. It is far larger than the 1963 excavation indicated and contains components that are deeply buried. The oldest of these components dates back nearly 5,000 years. There is evidence of continuous occupation here for 3,000 years prior to the arrival of the Spanish in the Bay Area.
The mortars sit behind a bus stop.
